- Degree in Philosophy by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
- His career is of considerable importance; he has focused especially on the public sector, which gathers management, cultural politics and exhibition curatorship, as mediator of the activation of contemporary culture production.
- He was executive advisor of the offices of the ministers of culture Jordi Solé Tura and Carmen Alborch and Director General of the cultural promotion of Castilla-La Mancha.
- He is co-director of the MBA in Santillana Cultural Companies and Institutions Training/Universidad de Salamanca.
- He created and is currently the director, since its first edition in 2004, of the international public art program Madrid Abierto.
- He is a member of the ICOM and of the Contemporary Art Institute (IAC).
- In addition, he is Curator of the Fundación Joan Miró and of the touring exhibition of the comic ¡Viaje con nosotros! (Travel with us!).
- As member of the cultural Association Avantcomic, he organizes since 2007 an annual meeting of avant-garde comic at the cultural centre La Casa Encendida in Madrid, and participates regularly in international projects.
